Cassowary roasts coffee from all over the world, but their specialty is strong coffee that isn’t bitter. The cassowary is one of the most dangerous birds in Australia, so the name already brings the strike. We built the mark around an engraved cassowary in front of a mountain ridge, framed in a coffee-bean badge, and carried it onto signs, aprons, mugs, and cups. Every bag shares the same layout, with a small callout at the bottom of the front naming the origin. Then color takes you there: warm orange for the Central American sun over El Salvador, deep green for the jungles of northern Guatemala, earthy brown for the volcanic soil of Sumatra, and purple for the blueberry and dark fruit of Ethiopian Harrar.
